I'm very happy to hear this and hoping this means better writing over all. This will make Skyrim perfect for me! http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/06/03/skyrim-has-60000-lines-of-dialogue-new-dragon-shouts-revealed-horses-confirmed/
Far more than Oblivion, I believe. I think based on word quantity Skyrim has about 1.5 times the dialogue as Fallout, which I believe, in turn, has more than Oblivion.
Hey! They actually implimented a varied form of Fast-travel...
If you don’t fancy riding around on horseback the whole time, there will also be a Morrowind style fast travel system that will let you use carriages to reach any major settlement from the start of the game. You can also skip straight to locations you’ve already discovered without the need for a carriage.
THAT should shut up anyone who whines about fast-travel now! Except those who feel it breaks the game but don't have the self-control to not use it...
someone posted in another thread yesterday that Fallout 3 had around 40,000 lines, idk about oblivion though.
I don't know how's those 40,000 lines for only about 200 NPC's, but at least it was more then OB. And if Skyrim has more then FO 3 then it's going to be amazing.
What makes it hard to judge is that a lot of that is surely the same line, shared between both genders and every race, like pretty much all non-quest/unique dialogue in Oblivion.
does anyone know exactly how many voice actors were in OB and how many lines of dialogue were in OB as appose to Skyrim
I don't know about number of lines, but Oblivion had http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Voice_Actors voice actors, 4 of whom were unique to main quest characters (like the emperor, Martin, etc.).

I never realized there was that little in Oblivion, i knew they didn't have a lot, but only 13? that's way low.
