100 days to game reviews?

LOLOL.

He doesn't have that much money..... I really hate to think of all the hours I spent in that game..... My major malfunction with it was: "The game has encountered a problem, you must reinstall." That got annoying in a hurry.

I agree with this, I haven't jumped on the angry army bandwagon but angry joe does do pretty great reviews. IMO what most reviews should be looking to achieve.

If he makes a living off his reviews, then by definition he's professional. Self-employed, but still professional.

Not a bad thing, but the money still talks, and pressures still exist. He wants to keep his fans happy and keep his revenue up? He gives them the kind of reviews they want, regardless of his own opinions or the opinions of games publishers. He wants to avoid costly rows with publishers? He avoids treading on their toes. He wants to give his honest opinion? He does so even if it loses him money. Cost/benefit trade-off, as with all businesses.

Of course, if he doesn't make a living off his reviews, then he is truly independent. I have no idea what his income is or where it comes from :).

The game would have had to been released 5 years ago to the reviewers in that case if looking for a decent playthrough and I think that is pushing it.

---------------

I think there will be a Friends/Family and a press release version a week or two before release maybe for the 23rd of October.

Lots of people do it looks like, I have pre ordered two games, Skyrim and ESO and the last I had played during the beta.

Preorder for me is buying it 2-4 days before launch so it can download.

Will probably do the same with Fallout 4, a bit depending on RL and how the UI especially dialogue works on pc. Might be smarter to wait for mods.
