4. Play the game

I been playing the game and only have the magic resist bug to deal with? Which I'm afraid of them fixing because Master difficulty won't be as hard for me anymore :-(

And lol, I'm playing on master as a dual wielder and have only the occasional annoyance.

5. Lurk the forum and reply to posts, since I can't play right now.

I have the resist bug, but that isn't what is keeping me from playing. I'm on some powerful pain meds right now, and playing ANY game is kinda, well, weird. So, playing forum crawling is about all I can do at the moment, lol!

It would be nice to have an ETA on the update, though. Something other than "this week"...but I can wait.

Now, back to staring at the screen for 5 minutes at a time again...have fun in WHATEVER you do to pass the time. I know I won't care that much when the medicine kicks in again.

What did me in was a certain quest for a house not working. I suffered through the resist problems with gritted teeth and lots of restoration spells :P

What's this magic bug people are encountering, can anyone explain it to me and how would I know if I'm affected. (Xbox 360)

I am however having some crazy dragon issues, I fought a dragon today that went batsheet crazy, flying backwards etc and really bad framerate drops at the same time.

I was lucky enough to not have internet at home when the patch came out (still don't), so I avoided it altogether :celebration: If I get service before 1.3, I'm not getting the patch, obviously. Also, I play on PS3, and I know that on consoles, we can uninstall patches--you can't play save files that have been affected by the patch, play while connected to the internet, and where applicable, play online, but I have uninstalled patches in the past when they caused issue. I imagine the same can be done with Skyrim, at least on console (don't know how that stuff works on PC). Has anyone done this or considered this?

I've attempted this, but sadly my save won't load unless I'm updated.

Yeah, that's what I said--if you uninstall the patch, you can't play files affected by it. Possible exploits and all.

How about starting a new file? That's always fun (though I can understand why you'd want to continue with the character you've already spent a lot of time on).

Lol Bretons after the patch  That just sounds like a useless character choice, but I'm glad you're having a good time. That's what the game's for.

Uhh...I have ideas.

1. Download the latest version of 4GB Skyrim.

2. Download the latest version of SKSE (that fixed magic resistance bug).

3 - 100. Play fixed 1.2 Skyrim!

yeah i realize that, but once that resistance thing is fixed, my dude is gonna all of a sudden be super badass - im also using the lord sign with that extra 25% magic resistance which is useless right now but the 50 armor part helps.

Don't think that's trolling. Honestly he made a helpful post, now that I know there's a mod that fixes this I think I'll go DL it.

Also, I believe the mod he's talking about is the Skyrim Script Extender, just an FYI for anyone else on PC who may be wondering.

I already have 4 characters going...don't really want to start another one, done just about any combination of play I'm interested in.

Download nothing because I'm on the 360. I'd have the computer version, but I'm a Mac User...and there was no Mac release...
