102.4 hours in Skyrim, only seen 1 dragon

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 12:20 am

Perhaps that is because I just recently did the second part of a main quest?

Anywho, I have a question.. after 102.4 hours in Skyrim, I still wonder.. is this game made for a Mage to be able to silently kill targets for the Dark Brotherhood?

With Destruction + Illusion - without using dagger, only a destruction spell and illusion if needed, perhaps Alteration Paralyze spell aswell - dunno which would do more damage to a sleeping target...

What you say? Would a Mage get a murder or just an assault then a kill? (L)

Have you been sitting on a bench in Whiterun the last 100 hours? :)

Over the course of my first ten hours in the game I think I came across three non-quest related dragons on my first character and three or four on my second, just traveling around in various areas of the map on foot.

Yes, if you don't talk to the Whiterun Jarl, you can effectively turn off Dragons.

Maybe he means 104 ingame hours( not real life hours), which would only be like 6 days, with sleeping and all.

I did the same. The amount of dragons visible is related to main quest progress. You could probably spend a couple of hundred hours without touching the MQ if you really wanted to. That's one of the main strengths of the game imo.

In all seriousness, you should be finding more, so either you're doing something wrong or (for whatever reason) you're lying about the time you've spent in game. Go and find dragons in their bloody nests if you must.

So basically you have spend over half the time that existed in the past week (including sleeping time), playing skyrim ha. Thats insane.

I've tried to silently kill with magic. Did not end well. There is no sneak attack bonus and anyone near will hear you.

Now you could make a bound dagger which technically counts as magic...

See this is what happens when I post before I think. I assumed that dagger would be in but i've only seen the ones court wizards sell.

So a bound sword...

But a Bound Sword won't have sneak multiplier? :( So I guess I could like go... Bound Bow + Bow damage increased then some points in Sneak perks to get 3x multiplier with bow but does this do more damage then a huge Firebal hiting a person in sleep you think? Uhm...

if you dont continue the main questline about 2-5 more in, then the random dragon will NEVER appear.

I have played for a long while now and have seen well over 60

also, im a stealth assassin type that uses a dagger in the right hand and illusion spells in the left, so not sure if i would be considered a stealth mage type of class.
