10Mb save data and frame rate issues

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 9:16 pm

I'm wondering if there is any idea with, I'll say, general graphic performance issues involving the size of game data. Right now, all of my game saves are atleast 10Mb size, even the autosaves. Now I am not able to play for more than 30 minutes at a time without what seems to be major frame rate lag to the point where it seems to take five minutes to walk five feet or something. Is there any idea of what is causing this issue?

Are you using the DLC? Then, it's most likely due to them. The main game worked for me quite good. It had some problems here and there and froze twice, but overall it was quite stable. How did you managed to get your file up to 10MB? At the end I was <8MB with almost every place discovered (no DLC!).

The only time/place I consistently had issues even with huge save files was when I was exiting the sink onto the balcony in the Big MT. It bogged down there every single time after a certain point.
