110 hours in..still LOVING IT

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 11:15 pm

Still enjoying it also, at around 170 hours of gametime. That`s even with playing with patch 1.2 on Xbox version and having a resistless Nord :D

Haha yeah I have the resistance bug and thieves guild bug too, it clapped out after loud and clear, doesnt make any difference to me there is just so much to do. The wintery feel is brilliant for the time of year (in the uk at least) and adds to the immersion.

A job well done Beth pat on the back!

170 hours in here and still loving it. I actually hope I get tired of the game soon, have barely done anything but play when I've been home since it came out. :S

180 hours so far with my unique level 76 Orc toon and still LOVING IT !

I can change my playstyle from shield/dual maces/resto brainless warrior to bow/dagger sneaky thief depending on my mood/situation. That certainly helps to get bored later.

I think it lacked a lot of attachments. The quests themselves are well enough, but are rushed far too quickly, i never had time to build up a feeling of attachment to any of the characters.I would think "Try not to get yourself killed" and not think on it anymore until i next see them. So when one dies, its like "meh"

The gameplay itself is fine, and the world is very nice- if a little lacking in the texture department.

The AI is one of my big grips, its just...dumb as a rock.Indoor path finding is terrible.

it was at 100 hours that I saw 2 mammoths and a giant crossing the road at night. It may not sound like much but it was the best looking visual I have seen in the game yet. It was stunning.

110 hours in and SIMP (Skyriming In My Pants) every night. My unopened copy of Battlefield 3 LE is making the sixy eyes at me but I keep ignoring it. It will soon develop a complex (if it hasn't allready). The best thing is that its making me pass on other great games for now, like Batman, Assassins Creed, Saints Row etc. That means in May through August when usually there is nothing new to play and everyone is looking to October I can pick up all these games on the cheap and play them.
Winning!!!!

Steam says that I played 124 hours; not sure if it's true but I still love that game. More than that, I'm still curious about it. :tes: :mage:

I am 65-70 hours in, haven't even started the MQ yet, only started the Companion Quest line and am only a few missions in! So what have I been doing all that time? Exploring of course :) I am worried now I have explored a little too much and they might start sending me to places I have already cleared, so I guess I should start to do the questlines :)

Not sure what Pete stated was the amount of 'Places of Interests' in Skyrim to visit, but according to my gamestats I have found 135 already! I have always played the TES games like this, just do Side-quests until I feel I have explored enough of the beautiful land then tackle the bigger ones!

Totally loving this game, and still finding new things and places even after all that exploring on foot!

Ha Ha! My AC Revelations LE is the same. I've even got the Guide Book but both are unopened - such is the power of Skyrim!

I'm probably about halfway through in terms of MQ and guilds etc, and im nowhere near bored. I see this game like a moving picture, the artwork is astounding, the atmosphere is unmatched, the soundtrack is relaxing and moving at times.

I genuinely get lost in this game sometimes, it soaks me up as I get sidetracked on my way to a quest, and during that session never even make it to the objective I set out to accomplish. Last night I was coming out of the inn at dawnstar and it was perfectly clear, bar a couple of snowflakes, then the sky turned grey as clouds formed and within minutes I couldn't see through the blizzard.

The game is relaxing to me, I can chill on the sofa with the mrs, and soak up the amazing experience Bethesda created.

Cheers!

Ahh, this is refreshing. Thanks for posting this, friend.

135 hours in, still deeply in love with the game, though I had a bad case of restartitis before settling on my bosmer thief who happily is level 32 now.

Same here. I suffered from Restartitis for about 120 hours, but have settled on an Orc warrior that does not cast spells, enchant items, or use alchemy.

170+ hours in spread over three characters and I still haven't seen the Civil War or Main Quest plotlines. Too busy exploring and trying out different skills. My bugged magic resist based mage is having too much fun to care much about the 1.2 patch. Great RPG experience all around!

I will put thousands of hours into this game until TES VI. I love the game despite its flaws, but I will voice them here so Bethesda can take them into consideration.

I've lost track of the overall hours I've put into the game (At least 250) but my main file is around 91 hours and I'm still finding new things in the world, Like for example today I entered a random cave and I found Falmer fighting it out with Bandits.

Finished the MQ, Companions, DB, & TG quests, sided with Stormcloaks. After I finished all of the main q's, yeah, the repeated "tasks" weren't worth hanging around for. So, I'm into my 2nd char, Lvl 9. Nope, not boring yet, already have a 3rd PC planned.
