I heard during the game-play footage this statement about 150 dungeons. And that is awesome! But I remember Oblivion and even Fallout to have a lot of dungeons or some kind of deep and scary places to explore and few things really bothered me during this explorations.
First — there was really no hazard to go into these places. Bunch of enemies here and there and if you're lucky: a trap of two. After quite some time going into these places becomes a routine and that wasn't giving any thrill after that. Which leads me to another problem --
Secondly, and most important, there was HUGE, no, I mean HUGE lack of rewarding for going into those dungeons. Well, yeah, you could find some crappy gear or something worth some money, but in general — that's it! Every time I went somewhere dark and scary, I imagined I could stumble across something epic, something lore-related, that is a big deal in this world, maybe not really useful, but super rare and fun. But in the end it didn't have anything like that. And after 15 times of unsatisfactory journeys I just gave up on ever stepping into dungeon unless for quests.
Just imagine dungeons being really dangerous and unforgiving places, that can reward you big time for being brave and skilful enough to explore it. I mean, it would've been awesome!!
So, my question is, will your 150 dungeons be something worth stepping into, or you going to stick with this "nothing useful here" concept of dungeons?
