v1.6.1820

Ok so I have this version of the game, the GOTY. I?ve downloaded nearly 30 mods but after only installing a few and tested, it didn?t work as planned. I don?t know about them now, but I want to know if I still need to install Morrowind Patch and Morrowind Code Patch for the game to work properly.
I would like the mods for better graphics but since I?m no modder I find it difficult to know where to place the files and how to deal with them.

Thanks guys

You don't need the patch, it's already in GOTY.
I'd highly recommend the code patch, makes a big difference.

Thanks. Fortunately I know that one works so I guess I?ll install it again.

Which Morrowind Patch you mean? If you mean the official Bloodmoon patch, then no, as you have already the latest version.
If you mean any unofficial patches, like MPP or UMP and MCP, well that's up to you. It sure does improve the game.
One note: the patches don't solve the current problems you have. If you have problems with the 30 mods you are try to get to work, then you have to solve that first.
And i recommend to start a new game when adding the unofficial patches and other mods. As soon as you have everything installed and you're happy with it, then start a new game.
