My my I didn't know that such low FOV could actually make people feel nauseous. Either way it is an uncomfortable experience.

Why is narrow FOV so popular? on an 24" pc screen who is pretty much standard today FOV is closer to 90 degree.

The low field of view doesn't make me sick but I would much rather have the option to turn it up, I like having more on screen at once.

In Skyrim i switched from 3rd to 1st person depending on the situation. 3rd person was for roaming the lands or checking my new armour and weapons, and i usually went 1st person when using the bow and/ or entering a dungeon.

I really need both to be fully functional.

You don't have to change your FOV if you're fine with it, the option is for those who have issues with the low FOV or simply prefer a wider FOV.

No idea, but that would at least be a partial solution.

I don't get motion sickness from low FOVs; but I sympathize with those who do. 110 at least.

I would understand if the game was primarily made for consoles, because a low FOV is good when playing from a distance (couch). But this game is made for the PC, anything less than 90 FOV make lots of people sick when playin, it's a very strange design decision of ZoS.

I wanted a FOV slider from the beginning because I feel we don't see enough on the sides as is and playing in third person is not an option for me I just cant get used to it and it kills all enjoyment I have in playing.

I was sorry for people who got nosea or vertigo from the FOV but though that at least lucky me I didn't have that problem.

Last week-end was the first beta where I could play the entire time and it proved me wrong as I got a huge headache.

So yes FOV slider is a must have for me too and not just for convenience but just for basic playability.
