1TB Xbox One Fallout 4 Console bundle, also incl Fallout 3

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 6:06 am

Microsoft has been announcing new holiday Xbox One bundles this week, and the company is closing with the Xbox One Fallout 4 bundle. It will offer buyers the 1TB version of the console, along with free copies of both Fallout 4 and the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3

The Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3 will be able to be played on the Xbox One when the console adds backwards compatibility features in November. Also, mods for Fallout 4 that will be made by third-party creators for the PC version of the game will be able to be played on the Xbox One version sometime in early 2016.

I'd buy this, but the console doesn't even look like a Vault or Pip-Boy.

Umm, when I clicked on the link it didn't show anything. Anywho, I was going to get an Xbox one tho replace my ancient white model 360 but I decided to build a PC instead! I'll keep my PS4 for those times I want to play a console game.

Yeah nothing really special here. You get a faceplate and that's it but preordering f4 get's you f3 anyway so yeah. I'm gonna grab the Forza edition because I planned on buying Forza anyway and it has a cool case with Ford GT sounds

All Microsoft have done is print a box with a Fallout 4 label and pop the two games in the box.

And the games press are going lala...

But you can't deny it's clever.

I have neither a Xbox One, PS4 or a PC that will run it, so I'm kind of tempted by this bundle.

Eh, the "games press" tends to report on any new bundle deals. Especially if it's a new-ish model (like the 1TB version of the X1).

Two weeks ago, it was the ugly CoD Blops III bundle. Next week(s) it'll be whatever holiday bundle Sony announces.

Damnit, I bought my Xbox one on Tuesday, I got to buy metal gear for 20 quid that was the extent of my deal. It's true, good things do come to those who hang around a bit.

I was going to pick it up but it doesn't have the elite controller so will not.

I love the Xbox controller layout but want one with better grip on the back so it doesn't slide around.

This would be a must buy for me, if the bundle came with a Fallout 4 physical disc, which it most likely won't judging from most console bundles now days. With my slow internet a download code just wouldn't do as i'd have to wait a couple of days for the game to download.

Edit: Then again, I am a patient man, so I could live with waiting for the game to download if the price is right. So, I'll probably get this anyway, wish it had a cool Fallout paint job though.

Ya, I wish they would have announced a bundle months ago.
As it stands, I got the 1T bundle that came with the Halo MC collection. To think, I could have got F4 instead.
At least I have all of the setup crap out of the way, so I can just play when I get the game.

They should make F3 backwards compatibility happen before F4 launches, too. It would sell like hot cakes on the XB1 right now. I haven't traded in my 360, so I can still play F3- but I think a lot of people probably went with the credit towards their One.
Anyone here do that? Trade in their system and wish they could play F3 and NV right now?

let me say this again Fallout 4 comes with a disc\

otherwise GameStop would not sell it

Fallout 3 in included as is all the backwards comp games which will include other Bethesda games

http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-one/consoles/xbox-one-1tb-fallout-4-bundle/126001

GameStop includes a Fallout 4 faceplate

no special edition PS4, as Microsoft has the marketing rights for Fallout 4

Sony has COD, Destiny and Battlefront
