200 Limit Woes

Okay, so I've discovered that reaching 200 has some serious problems:

  • One, as you gain other dwellers who aren't allowed in, they register inside your happiness average at 50% each. This isn't fair. We can't let them in save killing one of our other dwellers. We need their averages omitted from the daily reward, because right now I have five waiting with 200 averaging 88%. With the outside folks, I'm stuck at 82%. As I get more, it's going to go more towards 50%.

  • I can't move my apartments! Okay, so limit the intake to 200, but allow me to build OVER a 200 limit. Who cares if I have extra houses? Right now I have apartments where I don't want them. I was new to the game. I have thousands of hours invested in my vault. Not interested in starting over. Not interested in killing my dwellers. Please lift the build cap to infinite on apartments.

  • Radio rooms have NO purpose! Why not have them still generate some benefit aside from new dwellers. Why not have them raise the happiness level like their description says. Right now, they just roam around the room PISSED they're not doing anything. Total waste of money and space, and of course the rooms can't be removed without screwing up EVERYTHING.

  • Once you reach 200 the game is to explore the wastelands to get more goods, and to build up all your dwellers stats and levels. We need UI improvements to make this manageable. Something FAST to see who needs what. Remove ZOOMing being the ONLY mechanism to get dweller duration data. Why not have a BLUE bar over their head indicating how close they are to popping once you click the educational room?

I keep my population at 199 now. I had the same problem with a crowd outside the vault and a few accidental pregnancies unable to pop. So I killed a few in the wasteland. Now whenever something happens to cause my population to hit 200 again, I send the hapless newcomer to perish in the wastes.

I agree with you about the residences, a real pain and no way of shifting them
