E3 2010

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:25 pm

E3. A time for all of us geeks to gather together and eagerly await the announcement of those sequels, or the next game that a company will be making. A time of cheer and celebration, where we drink ale, and dance in the halls of E3-Land. The dwarves sing many great songs, the elves tell us great stories...

... Ok, SO maybe their aren't elves or dwarves singing, but one can dream right? Right? (WRONG) So in.. about two to three weeks, E3 will begin, thus beginning the announcements of epic sequels we all want, and other stuff...

Is it just me, or did this year go by REALLY fast? I mean, it seems like Golden Sun DS and The Old Republic was announced just a couple months ago. Anywho, my question for you all is..

Besides Elder Scrolls V, what are some sequels you would love to see announced, and what are some other things you want to see this year.

For me, Battlefront III (Elite Squadron is a great game by the way, massive improvement from Renegade), The Darkness 2, and the next Zelda installment. Hopefully, it won't be another DS disappointment...

What about you all?

Only looking forward to TESV, Natal, and Fable 3. Also somewhat looking forward to Diablo 3, but no so much, same with Star Craft 2 since they took out LAN play

Rome 2: Total War. But I don't know if the company that does Total War is there. That would be cool though. Maybe something super awesome will pop up and catch my eye, but to be honest I'm not nearly as interested in games as I used to be.

Beyond: Good & Evil 2, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Halo: Reach, Star Wars Battlefront III and a few others are games I'm looking forward to seeing.

Off topic: Elite Squadron was fun, but still not Battlefront III... Did anyone else notice it seemed a LOT like the leaked Battlefront III video?

On topic: Brink also looks interesting, so I'll be keeping an eye on it as well.

Hopefully Remedy will shed some light on the future of Alan Wake too.

All I want is a slide show with TESV on the title slide. It can be in white text with a black background and nothing else. Please Bethesda.

As a BGS forumite I feel its essential that even though we post often in the community discussion, its still crucial to stay in touch with the elderscrolls series, and more specifically the speculation thread.

That being said, I don't believe we'll be seeing TES V at e3.

I do hope we see Mass Effect 3, Arkham Asylum 2, Diablo 3 , Starcraft 2, Assassin's Creed, and possibly some fable 3.

I also hope that microsoft goes crazy with the natal game line up.

(Potentially) TES V, the new True Crime game, Portal 2 and New Vegas. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

Not much of anything, really. Until TES V is announced I have heard of no games that are interesting enough for me to keep an eye on.

Halo: Reach
TES V
Half-Life 3!
And NATAL things. I got to test it (shhh, I wasn't supposed to say anything) at Microsoft, and it's pretty neat.

I want ESV, but there's a very slim chance of that being shown there.

TESV, of course.

Okay, so besides that, Fallout: New Vegas.

Also, why are you guys anticipating Battlefront III? Wasn't that canceled or something?

Oh, cool, didn't know that.

But, PS3 and 360 only? Shame.

I'm anticipating new announcements more than games that have already been announced. Obviously I want to know more about Fallout: New Vegas, but Pete Hines said they would only do announcements and stuff at QuakeCon so that it grows bigger. Other than that, any RPGs, really.

I love Bethesda.

They love you too...
