As the end of the year rapidly approaches 2012, it is time for the BEST OF for 2011. The stage has been set, it's been a year of great fan-fictions, short stories, and role plays. It is now up to YOU, the members of our beloved forums to decide who came out on top. Get your suggestions for this years nominees in. This thread will be locked, and a new Poll thread will be started on December 18/2011 with the top three nominees in each category. I guess I count as a new writer. I started on these forums in May.

Sorry, I had no idea it was your job. But starting it on the 15th of December during the holidays? That doesn't give much time for people to review and what not, busy time of the year. Just my opinion, I know that I won't have the spare to time to review all that had occurred for the past year, and then my votes would be kept to the recent activity fresh in my head.

Haha, nah I was officially swore into the job. Just me and Kettle talked over about who would do it one time. And that I just really would have loved to have done it with that OCD of mine.

But past experiences have taught me that usually just active people, games and stories usually get nominations, which is why it was often done towards the very end of the year. But with some other End of the Year awards also take place, after New Years. So that's a suggestion also.

I disagree mate. This is only the nomination thread. The actual voting thread will open on the 18th ready for the end of year awards to be handed out, at the end of the year.

I'll get thinking about this Cobra and post my nominations soon.

I don't see anyone answering your question, but I would give you a resounding "HELL YEAH". To me, newcomer means new to the whole fanfic scene, regardless on how long you've actually been a member of this site. I mean, if you've been around since 09 and just now visited this section, isn't that as much as a newcomer as someone who joins in 2011 and immediately enters these here parts? I think so, so I'll be keeping you in consideration when it comes to voting my good man.

Wait, does that make me the newest of the newcomers?
