E3 2011 Map

What are you talking about? Obviously. Im just saying that there were people playing New Vegas last time. Why wouldnt they let people play Skyrim?

The E3 demoes were guided, not hands on. People played NV at Quakecon.

Pete just tweeted why their booth is closed..."Yes. It's closed because it's impossible to properly show your game to 40-50k people. We try to focus our efforts."

I'll be pleasantly surprised if we see live gameplay. Hopefully they put something out.

Instead of showing the game to every single press member, they show it to few such as IGN and Gamespot.

Perhaps a 'bethesda booth speculation' sticky topic?

Perhaps acknowledgement that their booth's shape doesn't have squat to do with Skyrim and move the whole mess to Community Discussion?

Okay, okay...unless their booth is in the shape of a map of Skyrim... ;)

Exactly. Some people think Beth will be live on stage demoing the game to the masses. Just trying to clear that up for folks.

Huh, I remember a guy from Arrowhead (Magicka) mention the Paradox booth is next to Bethesda's booth. *sigh* My 2 fav Devs right next to each other. Wish I could go.

Still cool that it's 3 weeks away. We should be getting the fan interview Q & A around the end of the month and then E3! The floodgates should start to open a little more in the near future.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up in regards to the fan interview Q & A. After seeing some of the questions that are being asked here, and more specifically on the blog, I fear it will simply be a rehase of information we already have. Hoping for some new reveals from E3 though, even we don't get gameplay footage just yet.

There are more than enough questions that are worth asking. If they choose to answer the ones that have already been answered, then that will be their fault, not the fans.

Oh yeah, that is true. There are some good questions being asked as well, which I would love to see answered but I can just imagine the devs hand picking the questions that we already know the answers to. It's simply what Bioware did on the run up to DA2's release.

Yes, I know Beth is not Bioware but I'm still expecting a similar responce.

We won't have Game Informer picking out the questions for us. It's direct from the fans to the developer.

Who exactly will be selecting the questions?

Some Bethesda guy of course. This can be abused though...
They could only choose the questions they have "good" answers for :P

Doubt they would do that though.

Yea, we'll get the obligatory "not talking about that yet" responses. It also doesn't help this is right before E3. If it was after E3, we'd get more answers because they should be opening up a little more in June and moving forward.

Just remember the Game Informer podcast with Todd Howard. He answered a whole load of great questions.

A lot of things they wont answer now though they'll probably be more open to talk about in 3 weeks.

What's that brown arrow looking thing on the bottom right of the booth?

Obviously I can't say, but they showed us a mock up of the booth and it made me say a curse word very loudly during a team meeting...

Bethesda's booth is the only one that has it. They're special.

What is that rust-colored arrow? Does it mean it's closed off? I doubt it'd be the only closed booth.

:whistling:

And there's something you're not telling us :stare:

The Bethesda Booth at PAX East was nice and open-ish though. I got to play Brink, and then I got a http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqN,!hUE1fl+WICvBNfEC(m3v!~~0_1.JPG for going to a Rage demo. There was very little in terms of BGS though, which made me a little sad. Just a small TV playing the gameplay trailer once in a while.

Nice! I'm going to say it has something to do with a dragon. Maybe a big animated one or something of the like.
