E3 2011: Skyrim Edition (Skyrim @ E3 HQ)

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 1:36 am

This is a thread to talk about Skyrim before, during, and/or after the demo or any other suprises they may ninja at us... :ninja:

**OP note: I thought I would just start out fresh, instead of using Necromancy on another thread. :whistling: (seriously...)**

Anyway, welcome to the E3 2011: Skyrim Edition thread, brought to you by tgl1992 and the TES forum community! :tes:

**OP note: I am the same time as E3 down in LA, so my times are in PST. :spotted owl: **

Demo watch!
:user: (ALL demo's and coverage are LIVE in the links/info provided. E3 itself starts around 8:30-9:30 AM, around that ballpark)

Monday, June 6th 2011 @ 11:00 AM PST on http://www.gametrailers.com/netstorage/e3/e3-live.html & Spike TV (5 minuet demo)
**OP note: Spike TV syncs with GameTrailers, so the demo is shown at the same time, but Spike TV is ONLY syncing GameTrailer's E3 coverage on Monday, after that it is only on GameTrailer's online stream in the link provided**

Tuesday, June 7th 2011 @ 1:00 PM PST on G4TV (2-part demo [still confused what it means] but no online live demo, press conferences stream online though)
**OP note: G4TV.com and G4TV will have the http://www.g4tv.com/e3-2011/press-conferences/ live online and on TV, EXCEPT the Microsoft press conference, that one is online only**

Wednesday, June 8th @ 5:00 PM PST on http://www.ign.com/events/e3/2011/live-video (20 minuet demo)

Its okay ive got it now people in UK, Ireland (you guys use IST but it is exactly the same as BST), Portugal and Morroco (basically these countries in western Europe) should be using:

June 6th 07:00 PM BST (19:00) - Gametrailers E3 Skyrim Coverage
June 7th 09:00 PM BST (21:00) - G4TV E3 Skyrim Coverage
June 9th 01:00 AM BST (01:00) - IGN E3 Skyrim Coverage

To be in sync with LA's time if you want to catch Skyrim coverage at E3 live

Yeah! I'll see all the trailers, they will be mostly in the afternoon.

Here are the times with timezone GTM -3 (Brazil):
June 6th 03:00 PM GMT -3 (15:00) - Gametrailers E3 Skyrim Coverage
June 7th 05:00 PM GMT -3 (17:00) - G4TV E3 Skyrim Coverage
June 9th 09:00 PM GMT -3 (21:00) - IGN E3 Skyrim Coverage

Of course, I didn't do all the scheduling by myself, I did it with the help of the community...THANKS! :hugs:

Also, thanks for the watchful eye of the Moderators on the forums! :foodndrink:

If you are confused with timezones, here is the http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/custom.html?sort=1, and where ever you are, just compare your current time with the current time in Los Angeles to see the difference in hours. :grad:

Same, Im just trying to keep this alive to reduce clutter and to help the mods, so there wont be like 1,000 threads of Skyrim demo discussions...

I thought now would be good because once the 24 hour mark hits tomorrow, there will be alot of threads like this imo

Since G4 has a "Two part" demo I imagine it will be the one we have already seen along with the new one that I hope includes dialouge. Of course its just speculation.

I still cannot figure out the two-part deal. I thought it was 1 part interview then 2nd part is demo, vice versa.

Just keep in mine, some places around the world, it is not Saturday, it is Sunday. Which means less wait! :celebration:

Think they ment a 20 min demo: 10 mins, then take a break, then come back for the last 10 mins?

Hopefully it will be pretty easy to find since I'm not going to E3. I just hope it's not like I can't find any videos anywhere like Friday of next week because no one has uploaded anything, because I don't watch TV, haven't for years, I do most of my viewing online. =/

I am still eyeing GameSpot like a hawk, I have a feeling they have an appointment for the demo with Todd. Wish their schedule would say :(

So what race are you guys looking forward to seeing in the demo, if Todd shows it? How do you wish and not wish for it to look like?

@Fin: yes, the times are the times for the Skyrim demo to start. Your time should be right. Like I say, Timezones can be confusing

Awesome, thanks ^_^
Following the crowd, i want to see the Argoinians, i want to see what approach Bethesda have taken with them. Still tough i would even like to races we have already seen but show a bit more customization options... oh and children... cute kitty cat khajit children

Im not good on timezones in your area, but I would think maybe gmt still, idk

Oh and a quick note to mods: Dont mistake this thread for Tanir Ravenclaw's "Unofficial E3 Thread" because that was made before we even were sure there was gonna be a demo, so like I said I didn't want to pick at a old thread. thanks and keep up the good work :tops:
