2012....oooooh 2012. Well, it depends on what you really believe in. In many times in the past, Christians, Catholics, Muslims, and Hindus alike have all said the apocalypse was coming, on a certain day, with certain events harboring in the end. Now, this has always been the way it is. The new pope was signaled as the Anti-Christ, Obama is thought to be a Satan-worshiping Zionist, the twin towers falling are to represent some sort of twin stars falling in the bible, etc etc. In the end, we're all the creators of our own uncertainties. Perhaps our minds are the bringers of the end. But as for 2012...there are some things that may or may not harp a change of equivalence. If you know about it, like REALLY know about it; there are a few Mayan calendars that actually pass the 12/12/12 mark. Mainly one in the eastern part of the old kingdom. It goes up into actually 2032. Which is by all means a LARGE stretch of doomsday. But WHAT, then, is the actual thought of happening in 2012? Well, the apocalypse for Mayans is depicted as a dragon from the heavens coming down and flooding the world. This can easily be interpreted many many ways. Some say it'll be a time of turmoil, testing the limits and strength of humanity as a whole. Some say it is going to be a time of sudden ascension of the human mind, of conscientiousness, Others believe it will be a normal day. Some, they think it is the end of the world, of humans, of time, of space.
Me? I have a different view, one that has been unfolding in front of our very eyes, senseless to us, for the past centuries. I can't explain it, due to the pressing tides of free thinking on these boards, but I will just say that I'm surely keeping on my guard, and not listening to one word of 'news' that comes from the press.
