2016 Clayfigter Ideas

After the recently announced Clayfigter 2016 I've decided to create a document that contains ideas for it and what could make the game shine. It could also help gamesas get it's ideas. Submit any Ideas you have in the comments below.

(Here's just part one)
Twisted Radical's Clay fighter 4 wish list - Part 1

General:
-Graphics: The graphics should appear as they did in the clay fighter 3 beta shots will beautiful backgrounds (well I guess they supposed to be beautifully disgusting) with clay animated characters in the background.


-Platform: should be available for Pc, Xbox one, Ps4 and wii u.

Mechanics;
-Combo system (631/3): the announcer with cheesy combo's and queen combos was quite entertaining, but often sounds garbled so audio could be improved. Also the insane combos should return (300+)

-Claytalities: already confirmed but every character should have 4-6, 2 being for all of them (squashing, decapitating them) and unique ones as well.

-Stage Claytalities: only mentioned for the Tureen toilet (originally called Men's room) was mentioned that characters could be knocked into the bowl, and opponents could walk over to a handle a "flush them". This mechanic should be added for multiple stages. Such as the candy factory stage where characters can be knocked into a machine and turned into candy, which are then proceeded to be eaten by the opponent.

-modes: All of the 631/3 modes should return, like characters with squeaky voices or low voices. Spill-it amount should also be brought back. We should also learn What the infamous "frosty is a horse head" does.

-Items: would be cool to have items to throw at players or to use for boosts, not really the biggest thing I want though.

-Map Layout: to prevent problems the maps should have a 2d design to them and have no more 3-d maps. However the breach throw point should be back and with the 2d layout will make it much less difficult to find and to stop finding (resort to many videos for that problem). Stages should also feature obstacles and platform to jump on, giving matches much more variety.

Characters; Here's the one everyone wants first lets have a basic rundown of what characters should stay and go.

Ones that should stay away:
-Helga: annoying and no one likes to play as her. Isn't even funny.
-Nana: Just a bland character, plus we already go a Jamaican character "Houngan"
-Kangoo: Very bland, uninteresting
-Googoo: Isn't it obvious?
-Zappa Yow Yow Boyz: not only are they annoying but they lack variety, I've heard about their pet goat move and cannibalism Claytality but really doesn't make up for their lack of moveset. Mostly consists of throwing and spinning.

Octohead is a loved character, give him a redesign (maybe a surfer dude, with each arm holding a different item) and he could return.

New comers: Introduce some new characters that maybe didi t make the drawing board. One idea I came up with was a Devil character with a tattoo on his butt that says "kiss this". Another character could be Boogerman's toilet who came to life after Boogerman ate a part of the clay meteor he thought was a burrito. Have some fun making them to.

Characters that should come back (not featured in 631/3 and sculptors cut)

Hobo cop: whatever overset you had for him, use it. Since this games on Pc and other consoles are totally find with third party having violent games (Nintendo), there's no excuse.

Ice: Frosty's (other) nemesis Ice should return but should get a huge redesign. An idea I had was he gets and ice like body with Icicles sticking out, sporting a snow cap and show pants. His main weapons are a snow shovel, a trash can full of salt, and ice tray, and his left hand which has been chewed on by lockjaw into a sharp icicle. Some of his lines could include "Ice place ya got here" I'll melt ya" "Lick my icicle" and "Not my pointy part!"

Butch; Tiny's nemesis returns but he is a bit different this time, Butch was so fed up with Tiny's restaurant that he started his own food business. He challenges fighters who if they lose become literal "dead meat". Main weapons are: A meat pounder, dual cleavers, spices etc. He also uses body parts such as his rib cage and arms of previous clay fighters. While he hates Tiny, his main goal is to take over Kung Pow's business.

Characters that appeared in sculptors cut and their improvements

-Lockjaw
Design: Lockjaw should pretty much look the same but maybe add a leather jacket with shoulder spikes to make him look really mean. Along with a bear trap with spike chain and other traps. In general make him look like a bounty hunter, just someone who wants to kill you.
-Attacks:Hot dog, dog rush and other attacks should remain the same. His bear trap and chain could be use as a grapple. Using dog a dog collar to choke and whip his opponents. He should be higher in attach and speed but low in defense, making him a character with a interesting play style.



Hoppy
Design: Other than graphics, hoppy can remain the same. Maybe a different voice actor.
Attacks: Hoppy should get the unused machine gun attacks from beta back. Along with this he should also have various terminator and robot attacks such as lasers, homing missiles, grenades and for a Claytality to go into the foreground and blast his opponent into spill-its.

High five: Hd graphics, should remain the same. New voice actor would be nice.
Attacks: Since high five was the most lacking in attacks here are some ideas. He could pop pimples and the puss could slow down or "poison the target". Spit out blood from the veins. Using his nails etc. Claytalities could include squeezing the Victim, and pointing at them causing them to explode.

Bonker
Design: I preferred bonkers originally design compared to his new mime like one. A new voice actor who could make him sound, well, Bonkers! Maybe Tom Kenny?
Attacks: Bonker should be more of a projectile based character, pies, pepper grinder, water sprayer, joy buzzer, toy guns, the list goes on. A lot of creativity should be involved with the character.

I'm not sure how th development goes but if they haven't started yet, they should look no further. :mrgreen:
