Post » Sat May 28, 2011 6:14 am

It's been 2 years since everybody came out of hiding after the 'great' war, America is in ruins and most area's still give of large amount of radiation. Some people (including you) survived the nuclear holocaust by hiding in sewers or caves and returned outside after the bombs fell to help others and rebuild civilisation one brick, bullet or bomb at a time.

This RP is my first RP so i'm not that good at RP'ing so don't blame me if i get stuff wrong.

The rp takes place in the capital wasteland

Rules: Don't start with a ridiculous weapons (Ray gun, Auto nuke launcher)
Find your guns in the rp
No swearing / rasism
Start with max 2 sets of clothing 2 tools 1 melee and 1 ranged

Age:
Occupation Pre-War (If any):

Brief Bio of your character:

Any questions, I'll answer!!!

Almost forgot my char sheet

Name: Sam
Age:15
Occupation Pre-War (If any):Paper Boy
Personality:Cautious, easily annoyed, hard to make friends with
Traits:Good at scauaging, making tools, fixing things
Appearance: http://www.istockpho...boy-smiling.php (not me, just looked for a good pic)
Misc: Bicycle, rolled up newspaper, Bike Helmet
Nationality: Russian
Starting point in the RP: Springvale
Brief Bio of your character: My family moved to America in 2074, but a year later they were killed in a car crash so I was adopted and given a more 'American name' I was on my last paper round of the day in springvale when a sudden flash and gust of wind made me fall of my bike, when i saw the mushroom clounds I hid in the
sewer because the manhole cover was off due to repair work, i sealed the hatch and waited suprisingly there were other people and we hid down there for a long time
until finally coming out...

I would recommend maybe giving a little more detail on whats suppsoed to happen, maybe a little bit about aplot, like the chars comign together and setting up a town or something.

As well, right now there has beena massive amount of RPs starting up and then failing, it sbeena pretty busy year adn I am not sure why? SO with out more detail I cannot say thsi will go far.

And finally right now there are 2 directly post-war RPs going on right now, so I dont really see a third of basically the same idea succeding.

Yeah, you need at least one month on the forums before you can even think of posting an RP here. We need a concrete background with concrete ideas, and an overall polish that you right now are missing I would suggest not only that you look at the making of other RP's such as Night of the Dead and Dog City, but look at our reactions to such introductions. After that month spent here, spend another two month (give or take) developing your own. You're going to have a lot of competitors, as a new RP or two gets unveiled every week -- which I find is ridiculous, theres only so many people this forum, and spreading yourself thin over multiple threads inevitably leads to the death of the RP.

So yeah, I suggest you take my advice if I'm not being to direct.
