2nd patch release?

Has anyone heard when the second console patch might be coming out? I gave up on trying to play through the glitches, now I'm stuck waiting on the patch

Nothing has been confirmed although someone stated GSTAFF mentioned people are working on the issues. Don't get too excited I've been lucky so far but haven't entered the Strip and that's where most gamers have problems...

I wouldn't hold out for the patch mate. If fallout 3s anything to go by then the problems will never be fixed. If I booth up my copy of F3 now it will freeze every 5 minutes and thts 2 years after release. They release 1 patch that fixes certain issues but that same patch opens up a whole bunch of new issues and keeps repeating. Fallout New Vegas uses the same engine as fallout 3. If they couldn't fix the freezing in 2 years then they will never fix them

Yeah they said the next patch will be coming out soon in the future weeks, but what that hell does that actually mean. Who knows. Could come out in a week, a month, or who knows. Also I didn't really have any issues except the 10mm pistol laser sight glitch and the usual choppiness and legginess when in really heated combat, Until I got to the Las Vegas strip. It freezes constantly, are unable to go through certain doors because when u do it just freezes. There's nothing but glitches and freezing on the Las Vegas Strip. My advice go to Camp Mcharren or other major settlements OUTSIDE AN FAR AWAY from The Las Vegas Strip area and get as many quest as you possibly can outta that place and stay as far away from the strips as you can and hopefully by the time you complete most of those quests these guys will have finally gotten there heads out of each others asses and released a new patch to us already(AND HOPEFULLY A PATCH THAT FIXES MORE ISSUES THAN IT CREATES). I'm a huge fallout fan and I am completely disappointed in the fact that they would release a game with soooooooooooooooo many problems right outta the gate. And they even have the balls to say "We didn't experience any of these problems during testing" BULL [censored]. There is no possible way in hell that they played through this game and saw none of these problems, especially once they reached The Las Vegas Strip. There either trying to cover there own asses or there quite frankly they're just [censored]. Either way they need to FIRE there entire testing staff for this horrific debacle that has sullied this GREAT SERIES name by releasing such a flawed game with "supposedly no knowledge of it" before the game was ready. Maybe they should have had Bethseda do ALL the heavy lifting. After all FALLOUT 3 was game of the year so obviously they've got there [censored] together. And my last pearl of wisdom to whoever is at fault for this disaster, whoever you or they may be, "[censored] YOU & HAVE A NICE DAY. PEACE".
FIX THIS [censored] [censored] NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fallout 3 actually works pretty much perfectly for me. NV is hard to play though. But according to the new patch post, PC will get 2 more patches
One early next week which will fix Companion issues (Which I hope well get fixed for PS3 as well, since its a major pain in the ass). Some other issues will be fixed,
then another patch (4th one). I sure hope that the PS3/Xbox patch will fix the same issues as the many PC patches. Then again, we'll probably be unaware of the changes, since
patch notes aren't common for Bethesda...

At least we now something is coming, better than nothing I guess.

this^^ if we do get a patch it will probably be bundled witht he trophies/achievements for the DLC that xbox is getting first...again... and probably wont do anything except add those trophies. I love playing fallout very much, I even ordered the collectors edition of new vegas but if this dosent get fixed, for me personally it will be the last gamesas game I buy. I know they wont miss my $60 but I won't either next time HOOOOOOOOOOOO

They said that for the first patch and it came out the week after. I'm pretty sure they say couple of weeks it the case
complications would push back the release of the patch. Then fans would go and endlessly insult Bethesda. So they're just
making sure that they'll enter the timeline. Couple of weeks. But I'm pretty sure it'll be out before next Friday. I'll then hope to be
able to replay the entire game again.

if the game is after this patch still unplayable, we should open a homepage, or some place on the web, where we will sign we dont buy another bethesda game, i am serious.
it could affect something.
please trust me, if you are angry this is the way to channel it.

i know this is a very [censored]in great game, but you have to let us play it.
