2nd patch forced acceleration for me too. For what it's worth, I was able to turn Mouse Acceleration off again by adding the lines back to the default .ini:

fForegroundMouseAccelBase=0
fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0
fForegroundMouseBase=0
fForegroundMouseMult=0

to:

\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\ fallout_default.ini

I hope they're learning their lesson. Next time build the pc version from the ground up, instead of porting from consoles in order to cut corners. The first pig built his house out of straw, the second pig built his house out of sticks, and the third pig finally figured it out and built it correctly.

But it doesn't work completely, the mouse lag is still there. Just a heads up for others hoping this actually fixes it entirely.

YAY that fixed the mouse lag, the forced vsync was adding the input delay. I'll update my thread with that info thanks.

To be polite, we all should be putting DXDIAGs in spoiler tags. I'm sure I'm not the only one who hates scrolling past a mile of text

With this new patch, it keeps reseting my Fallout.ini in the My Documents/My Games folder with the Fallout_default.ini from the the Steam/Fallout New Vegas folder. So I kept losing all my ini tweaks and ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa info so in order to fix that I luckily had a back-up of my tweaked Fallout.ini from the My Games folder and renamed a copy of it to Fallout_default.ini and replaced the one in the Steam/Fallout New Vegas folder so if it is going to keep reloading this default file at least it will be my tweaked version. This seems to be working for the moment in my limited testing.

All of these needed work arounds are kind of ridiculous as it is obvious this is more of a Steam issue trying to keep file integrity by having the same files in multiple locations so it is screwing up all our tweaks by reloading the versions it thinks are correct. I really wish they had stuck with GFWL as I never had any problems like this and did not have to fear losing my progress with each update that is forced on me that may make things even worse. At least with Fallout 3 I could actually play the game and enjoy it then have to problem solve this bugs.

I could not have said it better myself. I'm experiencing the exact same problem. Thanks for fixing the save problem. But it's hard to enjoy that little fix because I can't play for even 2-3 minutes now.
