I have played on consoles for years now. Love playing Skyrim on PC with my 360 controller. I was shocked I could use my 360 controller for Fallout 3. So now I am asking, can I use the 360 controller for Morrowind? By that I mean just plug in and play, no use of 3rd party software. I would try it, but don't have it for Steam and since I have no disc I can't use my old discs to install. So if I can use my 360 controller without 3rd party software, I will get Morrowind on Steam again. If not, I will just wait.
Not sure if it's a Steam thing or not, or if Bethesda programmed it in. Skyrim was documented you can use a 360 controller. Fallout 3 isn't documented. Not sure if the same applies for New Vegas or Oblivion as well. So since it's not documented or known for Fallout 3, I am wondering what other games are not documented for. Not even sure it is because Morrowind came before the 360 but you never know what could have been implemented with Steam.
So anyone playing Morrowind from Steam or not with a 360 controller? If so, how.
*edit* Yes I know people say keyboard and mouse is better. It's better for them, not for me. So please lets not say what is better and why.
