360 Controller Support For PC

Post » Wed Jul 01, 2009 3:09 am

Ello all, I really want to build a gaming PC and game a lot on it for the sweet sweet mods all you PC folk get. But there's one problem, I have gamed on PC before and I just can't get used to using a keyboard and mouse. I hate sitting that close to my monitor and it's just overall uncomfortable. So I'm wondering how the 360 controller support is for New Vegas amongst other PC games. Is it seamless, or more of a bad port?

I'm using the Logitech F510 gamepad on my PC...works great with FNV and FO3. I wanted to use the wireless F710 but haven't yet found the right driver to get it to work on an Asus. The computer's close to me so it's ok if it's wired. Once the stiffness of the controller worked itself out, it was a lot better. I haven't figured out yet how to make it work with older games like Oblivion.

If it is a Games for Windows title, then the Wired 360 controller will work for it on the PC.

Which means that Fallout 3, and Fallout:New Vegas will support the 360 controller.
