come on, of course not. It's a XBOX 360's demo, not PC's.

there are some 360 games that have this support, so please don't post if you don't have any useful information

1. I already know how.

2. I'd rather use my logitech keyboard and mouse.

3. Please don't post if you dont have anything informative or useful to say, thank you.

Yes you can. You would have to buy an extra device for it though. I don't know what its called or if its out yet but I know there has been a lot of talk about it lately.

They are USB, so the only thing left should be on the software's end, granted they have it supported

You plug the mouse and keyboard into a device(forgot the name) and it converts it so the xbox thinks you are just playing on a controller. I wish I could remember what it was. I just read an article on it like 3 days ago.

I heard that the auto-aim really messes you up though when playing with a mouse.(It sounds like it should do the opposite but w/e)

Oh. sry. I read your question wrong. The game itself isn't giving support. Its a device you can use with any xbox game.

Fail.

Will not happen i think.

That 3rd party device that lets you use a Mouse and keyboard is actually against the Xbox Terms of service and the advanced acceleration speed of controller input gets picked up by Xbox live as Cheating or Hacking and gets you banned.

I would be very shocked if it was supported. And if it was.. i would say only in special Matchmaking modes and Single-player. Last game that supported this i can remember was UnrealTorniment3 on the PS3.. so maybe the PS3 Version only haha?... i dknow.

Still waiting for the Mouse vs Controller Esports wars to happen. .. its funny how attached some people get to a particular hardware.. when really the player is the biggest element.

If you cant see that Both Mouse and anolog Controllers have deferent competitive advantages in Shooting games.. i think you really haven't appreciated the strengths of each enough.

Mouse has almost limitless Acceleration
Controller has limitless tracking.

I don't know why you're pretending that they're on the same level when they're clearly not. A person highly skilled with a gamepad would get his ass kicked by even an average keyboard and mouse user. The speed and precision of the keyboard and mouse is just too much for the gamepad to keep up.

Why are you tearing apart a helpful post? It all looked legitimate to me...no need to start stupid arguments. An opinion is an opinion. A Controller does have its advantages and so does Keyboard & Mouse, it is all personal preference.

Apparently he is entitled to his opinion but I'm not entitled to mine? Heck, mine isn't just an opinion, it's FACT:

I know some would like to pretend that all preferences are equal, but in terms of competitive gaming, nothing beats the keyboard and mouse. If you prefer gamepads for other reasons like rumble or whatever, that's fine. Just don't pretend that the gamepad is on the same level as keyboard and mouse competitive-wise.

OK be like that.

Get your mouse jump into a game and try and spin around in one direction for longer than 60sec with out lifting up and loosing input from your mouse.

Then jump on a anolog based controller and try to increase your acceleration of aiming beyond sensitivity settings and the outer edge of the nubs movement.

From this experiment in your language the Mouse would be considered to have more Acceleration strength but the Controller have more Control Strength(with no moments of disengaged control via lifting up of mouse) However there are even more details to both input devices that differentiate them than these.

What Microsoft are talking about is Shadowrun.. a Game they actually released and i have a copy of and have played. My self on PC and my Brother on Xbox. It still works today. They where going to explore it more but decided against it prob more because of piracy than any thing els.

Your right thou Fundamentally mouse and controller are different.

So much so that they can not be compared. However each still out performs one another in areas. Just not cross over. I think its quite interesting. And would like games to explore it in intelligent ways in the future. Not all gaming is a deathmatch. But even then it Could be used in non traditional settings.

while they obviously have different strengths and weaknesses, you just cant compare it to a mouse and keyboard for FPS. theres nothing left to discuss, end of story.

Now back on topic, any mods here happen to know the answer to my question? I'd appreciate it

The only platform with the freedom of controllers or kb+m is the PC platform. However maybe that'll change in the next console generation. In the end, i'm sure the console makes are just itching to get some lovely license fees from MMORPGS, a genre incompatible with controllers for various reasons (unless you butcher it into something ****).

So if I ever play a game of "spin around as long as possible" against a PS3 player, I'll lose. Not entirely sure how that makes them good at FPS games: you get kills by aiming, not by rotating.

I tend to set my mouse sensitivity so that it's slow enough but i can still flick around a 180 turn, the precision you gain is far better than anything a control pad can ever achieve, and i've used control pads for about 10 times longer. There's just no advantage to controllers in first person shooters at all.

Not a debate, a fact. If it was equal, there'd be no auto aim and aim assist in games. Controllers are for driving games/platformers ect. but not for fps/rts/mmorpg.
