Im playing it on all of them. 360 first, (CE) pc next (when I can actually buy a decent laptop) and then on my ps3, so it doesnt just sit in the corner of my room... (IE I need a good game for my ps3, and skyrim will probably be the one...)
I will play it on the 360 first. Then once I feel like I've had enough of the vanilla Skyrim experience (likely to be months, maybe a year.. maybe more??) then i will proceed to buy on PC once the modding community has come out with loads of content.
I don't know what to get it for yet, I'm thinking PC as I like the mod side of things but I don't know if I can run it just yet, which makes me wish and plead for the requirements so I can at-least he a gist of if I can run it.
PS3 all the way!!! I tried Oblivion and several other games on PC lately and the keyboard and mouse is not as natural for me even though I started gaming on a PC as a child. I hope they can accomplish mods on the consoles as Todd has discussed. That would be awesome. As for the 360 ... I couldn't care less. I hate that entire system, but that's off topic.
Well, I'm gonna say this will end PC>360>PS3. This forum is dominated by PC players, the general market is dominated by 360 players, so one can assume on the forum, PC will win, then followed by 360. PS3 is just left out to dry.
I'd like to add that I am in no way saying one is any better than the other, I'm just using facts I know about popularity.
PC for sure. Mods, keyboard/mouse, higher resolutions all make it worth it. (Sig) I plan on upgrading here soon to an Intel Core i7 2600k with 8GB of RAM. (Not for Skyrim specifically, but mainly for video editing.)
I'll buy the Xbox360 version and the one on the PC. Saving the PC one for a time when I have a really good quality gaming PC worthy of the awesomeness that is, Skyrim. :tops:
does it cost alot of $ to upgrade your computer to play games?
I have windows xp
448 MB of ram.
What does Skyrim require?
We dont know what it requires yet. But.....less then half a GB RAM, probably old CPU and GPU.....It would be best to scrap the entire system and build/buy a new one. A good PC that can run most games can be had for around $750-$800.

Just going off of what you posted, in my opinion you'd be much better off building a computer from scratch. I just helped a friend pick out parts last night and I got him an above average gaming computer for about $630 USD. We have no clue what the recommended specs are for Skyrim but with it being a console port a modern computer should run it fine.
