360 Wired Controller on PC

For twitch games Keyboard and Mouse are the way to go, but with something like The Elder Scrolls I prefer something more relaxing like the 360 controller. Although unfortunately the 360 controller was a pain to get working correctly on the PC; requiring many workarounds to get the right feeling.

I'd rather be able to choose my input device and have my menus/control scheme fit my input device, if I play Keyboard and Mouse I would like the interface to cater for it, however if I choose to play 360 Controller I would like to use the 360 Interface.

I think it has been confirmed that PC will have a different interface to Console versions of the game.

How likely do you think it is that we will be able to switch between PC/360 interfaces on the PC version of the game depending on the controller we are using?

I know Crysis on the PC will detect an xbox 360 controller and will change the control scheme as necessary. I'm sure Skyrim will as well, at least on windows PC's since xbox 360 controllers have P&P drivers on it.

I've been playing FF7 on a PSOne emulator with my xbox controller, now that's cross platform :D

I want to be able to use my Logitech gamepad/controller with my PC for Skyrim too. It works for Fallout New Vegas just fine...here's hoping it's going to be the same for Skyrim. It really helps my immersion since I learned first on gamepad.
