So my 1st explosive char and somehow I came across the grenade launcher. I truely love this weapon. I found myself lobbing grenades over buildings or through the highway overpasses. The sign of the exp bar moving is instant gratification. For instance in the fiends territory outside vault 3 there are fiends scattered all about. With Ed-e's perk and my high perception, I just aim up and rain death.

If you like the thump thump or reg. Grenade rifle they work well as do the grenade machine-guns but, I appreciate the 40mm grenade launcher.

The 40mm is definitely the best and easily available (later in game) explosive I have used in the game.

Love the Launcher, fully modded, with high explosive or incendiary rounds in particular- with full demo build, 3 pts. in Demo Expert, grunt perk, 100 Expl. Skill.... holy cow. One round of incendiary in the middle of a pack of baddies.... the result looks like a tactical nuke without the radiation concerns. Flaming bits and chunks flying high and proud, into the next time zone.
