So yeah I was thinking a light weight Power armor like this with a re-breather on it and a Power fist permanently attached.

How would they hold a gun, and what is wrong with the eyes.

Visor? The eyepiece is shaded itself.

Oh you mean it an Enclave-style eyepiece, btw http://thepokerpiratestore.com/images/10-visor.jpg, that is good, i see how this could work, but you'd have to make the helmet smaller.

I'm pretty sure power armor is as light as it's ever going to get. I mean, even Enclave power armor still weighs as much as it's predecessors.

It is weightless, or well, it is supposed to feel like it is when it is being worn, the game fails at this, wearing power armor should negate its weight, it should support its own weight.

I Think power armour should increase speed and strength give rad resistance and Infinite air under water if you wear the helmet.

Oh no, I was refering to it's physical weight, not how you feel in it. I just got back into F2 again, and got blown away when I remember power armor in F2 was LITERALLY POWER Armor.

Edit: Why Paladin? I mean, the Helmets work as an air purifier, not an oxygen tank/recycler.

I Just think the Power armor should give you a sense of being unbeatable. On land or in water. It should be an awesome prize once you've earned the right to wear it and have the training for it. I know what the Helmets do, That's why the T-51C is an upgraded, 1 of a kind rare armor....or it should be. I'm not saying you should be Master chief from the Halo series I just think the suits could be better is all.

When I wear the T-51b, every bullet just ricochets off, I can't imagine what else you could ask it to do.

Huh? I thought Power Armors had closed cycle breathing system for protecting from radiation? Should especially be true for APA2 if it's developed after the apocalypse by the "no wastelanders allowed (to live)" Enclave :teehee:

I pretty sure the pre-war scientist would put an fusion turbine/jet on power armour if they want speed.

T51c Power Armor, underwater breathing, integrated Power Fist with Mr Gutsy style flamer attached superiorly, jetpack , stealth technology , beverage dispensers, and built in quantum storage device.

if fallout was real, that would be good business, modifying power armor for all those purposes, would probably be turned into a pile of meat and looted after the first day though

That would be one hell of a character, you enter an isolated bunker, you see disassembled suits of power armor on racks, disassembled stealth boys littering the floors, you traverse further, seeing more disassembled stuff, suits of power armor with stuff built into them but altogether non-functional, at the end you meet a very polite ghoul, he isnt crazy, he kindly asks you to assist him in creating the perfect power armor, he asks you to bring him Advanced Power Armor, Dr. Henry's research notes on the Mk 2 Stealthboy, a suit of CSA, a suit of T51b Power Armor, a Rebreather, a Mr. Gutsy flamer, a Power Fist, and other high-tech things, a long fetch quest with a lot of combat to get advanced tech. In the end he creates Hardened Advanced T51c Power Armor, and gives it to you, "I was to make the best armor for our nations greatest soldiers, this belongs to you now."

Scrap the current helmet entirely. If you want to integrate a rebreather, I recommend building off of it or even using its style as a base and building a unique helmet around it. The visor's cool. Unique.
