7AM starting time on sunday vs 7Pm starting time april 3rd

Post » Sat Mar 29, 2014 6:16 am

Technically in America if you advertise something as being 5 days. That too a judge means 5, 24 hour days. I dont mind waiting until sunday but its the weekend why not start rolling starts is my question.

They are not ripping us off. You didn't pay for the access. It was a reward for spending more money on the Imperial edition, or purchasing direct from ZOS so they retain more profit. Cry to your mommy, I have no sympathy for your ignorance.

5 calendar days * 24 hours per day = 120 hours.

12 hours is 10% of that.

Skyrim: 11/11/11

ESO: 4/4/14

Getting the pattern? The 3 day and 5 day early access was decided well before the actual release date.

Jesus christ.
YOU DID NOT PAY FOR EARLY ACCESS YOU PAID FOR THE GAME.
So no, they are not ripping anyone off.

The people aren't b*tching about the date. They are b*tching about the time.

You just knew it would be foobar when the five day early access midnight launch is in American Samoa.

So... who here took one good look at the pre-order bonuses and thought to themselves: "Wow! 5 days? That's my kind of deal! Good thing it wasn't 4.5 days. I mean, Who'd buy that?"

No? No one?...

So who's excited about this Sunday? I know I am! :D

:D Good post. That 12 hours isn't going to make the blindest bit of difference to me anyway as I would be asleep for most of it.

Oh and my glass is half full, not half empty.

And you think ridiculing me is a "manly" way to address someone? The OP raised a legitimate concern, and I can see that there are some people who really don't care, and others who define a day differently.

It would be nice to see what ZOS has to say about it. They gave an incentive to buy the game early, and the initial incentive does not match what their official announcement was.

I can see if the servers closed every night at 7 PM how opening it on Sunday at 7 AM would give us 5 days, but its a 24 hour game that does not close (unless they have maintenance or server issues).

Actually it was in every sales advertisemant for the pre-orders. It was being sold as part of the software package.

For really nit-picky people with time on the hands, you would have to take it to small claims court. Sorry, you lawyer types who think to cash in on a class action, ZOS probably has a clause in the agreement where you forfeit the right to file any class action lawsuit.

You bought the software.
The bonuses were incentives to buy the software early, not a part of the software that you paid for.
Proof: The Software without the bonuses costs the same amount of money.
Sorry bout it, but you're wrong. 100% Wrong.
Also if you took this to small claims court you'd be laughed right out of the door.

It seems people are grasping for anything and everything to complain about past few days. I've seen some horribly weak complaints lately, but this one takes the cake.

Do those of you that are so upset by this also get mad when a game is announced to release a certain day, but you can't get it until noon or 3 PM or whatever cause the company is cheating you out of a product you paid for (as other said early access was a free perk to preordering)? I mean that's no different, if it's released at noon then you miss out on 12 hours of gameplay!!!

Seriously people calm down. People have waited weeks, months, years, decades... depending on who you are. Is 12 hours really such a huge deal?

Why does this one get the cake? I wanted cake :( If I get on board with the 12 hours complaints, do I get cake? Cuz I'll do it, I'll totally do it.

Grab your pitchforks and torches friends, we have a company to take down! TO ARMS! LET US MARCH FORWARD, SLAY THE HEATHENS AND FEAST UPON THEIR ENTRAILS!

You would be absolutely correct...

Are people that are so upset by this also going to be complaining every time the servers come down for maintenance or when there's a big patch that breaks stuff and it's unplayable for 10 hours while threatening to go to court? :D

The server was down for 17 minutes, I demand a full month's service because they violated my rights to unlimited access!!!!

Do you honestly believe that the entire team won't be working all weekend? If so you don't know how companies like this work. Heck. Even the marketing team will probably be there watching the status screens and number of players read outs much less the devs and engineering teams. Those guys will probably be working 20hour shifts for the next two weeks
