Watched the 7th son last night. If you read and liked the book then dont bother seeing this

I figured based on trailers and good talent such as jeff bridges and julianne moore that the movie would be decent. Budget was 95 million
Wow -sets are awful, script/acting awful. Then they gutted the book so the ok/decent story gets replaced with nothing

We are lucky with GOT/lotr and a few others that even they are not 100% faithful that clearly there is an effort and a desire to make a good product. My hats off to hbo
