Can anyone tell me if I have this right sometime around the 9th era the ES universe gets laser guns and spaceships kinda like sci-fi instead of fantasy? And there is a imperial colony on the moon

I saw it on another forum and decided to bring the topic home for you awesome lore buffs to prove or disapprove
