Abandoned Mods?

Are there any that are "up for grabs"..of course with proper credit given.

I think it would be fun to finish a mod that was given up on so I really want to try that lol :D

Anybody know of one?

ShaddowT - redwoodtreesprite's site has a listing of many modders' levels of permissions, what they are happy you do to the original. It contains quite a few that say have at it. The list is mirrored at Mythic Mods I think.

Hey now, why wouldn't you want to be a part of a team that includes Phijama, Oriphier, and Vagabondangel, I mean, thats like the perpetual "dream" team of artists on one project........or is it that the mod itself was just a "dream?"

Edit: don't mean to hyjack, but seriously Bahamut, I love your Dreadknight and Lichking armors, and I don't even care for warcraft, but the armors are still sick!

I can think only of Jeremy's Knights of Tamriel. I would love to see those armors completed. And maybe even enhanced with the possibilities that have become available for Morrowind in recent times.

When they finally make a computer that can run morrowind, and MGE with 8 active shaders in exteriors all with 255 mods active at 60 fps, whatever year that will be, I'm guessing stardate 2468 for some reason!

Uhm if the resources weren't released I'd say someone else finishing the project isn't possible. Like IR. However there is The Underground 2 and Qarl great pita that he is can easily be found for any final details of plot that need reinstituted.

Joke as it is, I have to second it. =X That Lich King quest mod makes me itch sometimes.

Also, Children of the Night: was that ever completed? Not that I could ever get even the first part to run...

Children of the Night 1 and 2 were completed I think.
But not C of the N 3. I think that's right. MentalElf might know the details.
Some of it likely was used elsewhere I imagine?

My old friend Ronin49 is right, CONI and CONII were released, but CONIII which
I was a part of, was never released.

The CONIII group was led by JB, and had Emma, JoG, MadMax, MadPauly,
and other famous modders in it. I can't remember if the late Grumpy was
in it as well, sigh.

Most of my work revolved around a desert town being overrun by Daedra,
which come in by a huge airship and storm the town's castle. Scantily
clad dremora Seducers kill everyone and everything and the player is
forced to retreat.

Before the big ship deploys the player uses an artillery piece mounted
to the castle wall and blows up incoming flying Daedra attack ships.

The artillery piece (cannon) was designed by MadMax. I took his place
and worked with the cannon extensively, especially with the script, until I
got it and I got the entire desert scenario of the fall of the town of Khaleb
working perfectly.

I adapted the cannon mechanics to Oblivion, creating the mod "Stop the Daedric Recon",
creating all new models and script. You can find it with my other mods on straygenius.com
