Abilene Kid LE BB Gun overpowerd? : Fallout: New Vegas

i just got the Abilene Kid LE BB Gun and is it just me or is it overpowerd for a bb gun doing 70 crit damage every critiqual and i go around in a first recond beret so i tend to get crit hits alot

You have to rely on crits to do well with that gun. For someone who isn't luck based, it is almost useless.

I just stick it into my 'unique' chest in the Lucky 38 and move on.

It's crit multiplier is crap, and it's straight up damage is almost non-existent.

I cleaned out Vault 3 with the Abeline... and Thump-Thump.

The Abeline is fun if, like they say, you have a decent crit chance. I think it's more of a dev joke than anything.

It's the good ol' Red Ryder...

If you think it's OP this game try FO1 get it on the first random event straight out of the vault...
Then procede to kill everything in game with it.

Man I miss that build.
