Ahah! So I was right!!!

Both sides are being lied to and aren't getting the whole truth!

And also, this interview was amazing, I loved it.
And there was nice gameplay in there as well as mentioned.

I think this could use some updating with the new info from the Ability Previews, as well as maybe some reformatting so it's a little easier to distinguish ranks from abilities in the OP?

Yeah some that were released recently were:
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/fbx/?set=a.10150149447139843.310536.94712919842

Operative: remote control is turret control - control a friendly turret in first person view.
(also guessing: finger is spotting mines, but that might be part of the standard op pack.)

Soldier:
Bird claw is scavenge - get ability pips of dead enemies.
Also, I think molotov is a separate skill, just they have it unlocked in the video.

Medic:
There's one ability that's represented by a briefcase. Rank 2.
Upgraded briefcase ability, rank 3.

Universal:
There's one ability that's represented by slippers? No idea what that is.
One with a backpack and arrows up. No clue there either.

Engineer:
Note that you need to buy the light and medium turrets to buy the Gatling turret.
And, most likely, need to buy the light turret before buying the medium turret.

Another thing worth noting that in these pictures, it says that he's level 20, rank 5, and has 300,000 XP. So I guess 300,000 is most likely the amount of XP needed to level completely.
In this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_CykYOy6Lw&feature=feedlik the most XP seen at one time was almost 6,000. And at the end of the video, at the end of the mission to player had 4,000.
So it'll probably only take 50 games to level a character completely. Great for experimenting with class builds and body types, but seems too fast really.

Thats not cool. I think that if I want to pick a different skill set, I have to down-level. But is that for each point back, or lose a level for all skill points back?

Bird claw is the scavenge ability (Scavenge the equipment of Dead enemies by interacting with them to refill your Supply meter)

The following is correct:
You go down by one level and can respecc everything.

If you're level 20, and want to totally rebuild your character, you only drop to level 19 to do so.

If you're only level 3, it's going to feel like a bigger hit, but you're going to level up faster at low levels anyway.

I'd assume that slippers would be something along the lines of silent running/movement, but who knows.

Nice compilation Wraith (And HORSE ofc).

I'm glad that they still have an adrenaline system. (W:ET, adren anyone?) It's good that they changed it though.

Great work! I would say that for the long run it would be better to get all that info into the http://brink.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page. Rather than having a wiki that everyone can edit as well as a compendium.

Another interesting easter egg / bit of trivia: http://www.slideshare.net/thrmoptc/gdc2011-level-design-the-design-conduit

Slide 21 of 75: The message "WE EAT CoD" is graffiti'd onto a wall. :lmao:

does the scavenge pick up automatically, or do you have to stop at the body any interact with it?

Think you need to interact with the body.
