From a strict roleplaying perspective:
Given: It is a known fact in lore that potions can be stacked.
Given: There is no limit to this effect by the game
Therefore, a character might know about this fact.
Therefore, a character might use it.
It is intelligent to use it, because it makes your character stronger.
Logically, any intelligent character who has this information or experimented with it, would be able to perform said action.
It would be logical for me as a role player to let my character do it. It would be illogical for my character not to do it, in fact, given s/he knows about this or found out on his/her own.
Finding this out is very well possible in-game.
It is not a bug, because it appears in lore, so actually using it after finding it out is not abusing a game mechanic.
I conclude: If I want to correctly play an intelligent mage who knows a bit about alchemy, I'd almost certainly exploit this by following simple logic without ever using out-of-character-thoughts. Not doing it would be an out-of-character decision, which I, as a roleplayer, want to avoid.
That is why I want this fixed.
