Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 7:48 pm

I've frapsed one guy today but i cant send the video to crytek's mail because hotmail has 25mb limit on attachment size. (ive got one 100 mb and one 250 mb video). But i need that quality so crytek can see the cheater's name clearly. ( i needed the second video to confirm the name it wasnt very clear in the cheating video only was clear whn i killed him). Can anyone tell me how can i send the damn thing?

Well, youtube forces you to link your account to email. I hate that stuff, so its kind of a last option here. Does anyone know any website(hotmail/yahoo vs) that does give unlimited free email service?

you can upload it on http://www.2shared.com

but I think we all would like to see the video, then you don't need to mention the cheat in the video name ;)

Agree

I jumped on my clan server last night with my clan leader. Server was full. He killed everyone (including me T_T ), at the end of the round in the lobby they all accused him of cheating and the usual rage, then they rage quit. We had no1 left to play against.

So be sure its a cheat, and uploading for everyone to see is a pretty good idea. Either for correction OR just for other players to see what cheating ACTUALLY looks like.

Its pretty obvious he cheats, ive uploaded a video on youtube just now but for some reason it shows really low resolution, cant see any of the names. Any suggestions why that happens? Anyways i guess crytek would need to download from 2shared. At least that doesnt destroy the resolution. Youtube link is this btw but its very bad quality

if you really want to see the full res, here's the link. 100mb for 12 seconds though:(

Youtube videos take a while to process. The low resolution version will be available first and then the higher resolution versions will follow.

For nice quality, you can use easy H264 as a converter from avi to MP4. I use this to convert videos to put on youtube, its size goes from 3-digits to 2-digits space. very useful for uploading and sharing.

Some examples :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYkYwx8O1p8
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7lARMbHT54

These were
1st : before: 500 Mb; after: merely 5Mb
2nd : before : 1.3Gb; after : 12.1 Mb

You can find the converter on google, I think, its named Easy H.264
I'm just trying to help, hope it does so :)

I played against DADY....

I noticed something different that happens.
Let's say I encounter an enemy, we start shooting each other, I get killed. In the replay I see that he was facing me earlier than I actually cud see him do it.

Or for example I attack somebody he turns and shoots. In the replay I see he turned a bit earlier than I actually cud see.

In one other post they told me to not take count of replies. But it's not the quality or the slow motion that comes in discussion however the timing.

I have the impression sometime there is a lag, a short lag but enough to influence the game. I think it is my internet connection, but I'm not shure what to look for in the internet speed test. The speed is of 20 mbits, maybe it's the ping....
Do you noticed something similar?

and about video uploading, I uploaded 12 gigabyte of video, in total it corresponds to 7 minutes. The original fraps files where 25 gigabite.

I tried to keep the best quality as possible, but as I don't know much about encoding parameters I probably cud have done a much smaller file without loosing the quality.

Here is the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI9_n5Kvb-k

you can switch to 1080p ;)
If I look to clearness, it has lost a lot compared to the original ;)
I recorded the original at 60 fps

At the minute 5:20 you can see what I mean, I'm going to hit another player, he turns and shoots. In what I saw at minute 5:20 he wasn't shooting me yet and I got killed before he turned and shoot. And in the replay I see what really happened.

What do you think this is?

^^ I looked at your video and the section you mentioned at 5:20 - that looked pretty close to what happened to me. There may be some small lag but nothing major. An easier way to spot lag is if you are heading for a corner and come under fire, you appear to make it to cover yet then die unexpectedly. Looking at the killcam shows that you never made it to cover after all. The killcam is derived from what the server decides has happened not what the local clients tell them happened.

This is a symptom of lag. The bandwidth of your internet connection makes little difference. Pretty much all modern broadband connections will have more than enough bandwidth to carry the signals from your machine to the game server. Ping is by far the more important number - that is the time it takes for the information to be sent from your machine to the game server. Smaller the better in that case. Under a 100ms ping is what you want. Also bear in mind that the pings of other players can have an effect which is why servers should employ a minimum ping for the players on it (most dont). Also bear in mind that if your internet connection is being used for any other purpose you can get lag spikes - such as someone in the family browsing the internet on another machine or sending emails from there WIFI phones for example.
