I'm on my second playthrough, where i'm gonna be a good guy. So no blowing up Megaton,lol. I've just upped my speech quite a bit, but when i return to Lucas Simms and try to get 500 caps from him, it keeps saying 15% at the speech challenge. How can i get this to change? It's exactly the same as when i had just entered Megaton for the first time, but now i've made my speech level higher and it still says 15%. I don't get that.

What is your speech level?

Edit: Might be glitched of some sort, I have never had it stay at 15% I don't believe.

If you really want it you could save, try it, if failed reload the save and try again. :shrug:

Hmmm speech level is 26, maybe it's not enough. I probably need 30 or more. I'm gonna do the second task for Moira, and hopefully i level up again, and i'll crank up speech more.

That's a little low, you can keep trying and you'll eventually get lucky and pass it.

.... Uhh well then is not high at all. 15% is normal for that area of skill. I was thinking you had at least 50.

its hard being the ultimate good guy IMO. i have good karma but i find it would be easier too be the pure evil character than an ultimate good guy.
