I dont have problems with the graphics being of lower quality than other AAA games out there, but I sure expect that simpler graphics equals higher FPS.

After several crashes, I finally was able to play some time and the game runs very poorly, at least here. Theres hickups in the FPS and its not a smoothly experience at all. I can name many games with better graphics that runs better in my PC (witcher 3, dragon age inquisition, the beta of battlefront).

So, Im wondering if more people are having a bad experience. Right now, in my view, better optimization should be a priority in the next patches.

I'm maintaining a buttery smooth 60 FPS. Holds up even with explosions and firefights. I have everything vsync locked to my 60hz monitor, so it's probably getting more. That is with every setting on Ultra at 1080p.

i7 4790k 4.0ghz, Nvidia GTX 980TI, 32 GB RAM, running off a solid state drive. I recognize I'm above recommended specs, but even with every setting maxed, I'm not experiencing any stutter or frame drops. I've got about 5 hours logged so far.

Playing on ultra, on a system that started showing it's age about a year ago or so (i7950@~3.2GHz, 12GB DDR3/Triple Channel@1333MHz & RadeonHD7970/3GB GDDR5).

Framerates are between 45-60 with vsync on. But they mostly stay in the 60s.

Well, the OP never specified his system specs. I just assumed if he or she is running Battlefront and the Witcher 3 they have a pretty decent system - just giving a comparison.

And if you are using an Nvidia card, be sure and update your drivers. Nvidia released a Fallout 4 optimized driver today.

Sorry about not posting my specs. Here: i5 3.1ghz, 8gb ram, gtx 750m (2gb). Im right on the recommended.

But, as I said, I just want to know if more people are unhappy with how the games runs. For a game with such ok-ish graphics, I was expecting a lot more FPS.
