About Skyrim DLC...

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 10:38 am

I was kinda hoping they change peoples' expectations with Skyrim DLC by creating some unbelievable things that people doubt would happen. Skyrim will last for years, if they were to add DLC that could keep up with time, that'd be awesome.

I really hope the DLC is nothing like the FONV DLC. Those could be completed in a few solid hours. They know how much moolah their fans are willing to shell out for some big DLC. Screw the $10-20 content!

Beth, blow our minds with Skyrim's DLC! Take your DLC to the next level! Skyrim is a massive game, so make the DLC massive as well. Go big or go home? Bigger is better? Something like that.

Yeah, there will be plenty of mods. But I'm talking about Bethseda. You know, the ones who made the game?

tl;dr---> I'm sick of shatty DLC on amazing games.

They've already said the DLC will be similar in size to Fallout 3's DLC.

I don't care about DLC as long as I can play before 2012.

I would gladly pay for a 30$ Expansion if it had few bugs, and just felt awesome.

But first they need to make my PS3 not lag and freeze every 2 hours.

This, but I worry, SI was so wildly exotic, probably the best DLC Beth(or most Companies for that matter) has ever released thus far, I almost doubt they could top it

Didn't they state specifically that they were going to make "bigger" DLC's this time around, like with SI?

SI was sold as a full expansion not a DLC so I doubt they will do anything that large.

But Point Lookout for Fallout3 was a pretty decent DLC. Hopefully they will make a few that size. The orc kingdom of Orsinium next to Skyrim would be cool. They mention that place in the Skyrim load screens.

I want a DLC SI sized but not a Daedric realm, [censored] that for a laugh, no I want to travel to another part of a province, not an entire province just a small chunk of one, like we could return to a chunk of Morrowind that wasn't effected by the volcano.

I don't know if any DLC can ever match SI. That was just out of this world!

I would love to see the west part of the Morrowind mainland, all the flora and fauna in glorious 2011-2012 graphics would be nice, and Morrowind, like the Isles, always kept that alien-world feel for me

Have you reviewed any of the interviews regarding the future DLC???

They have mentioned that they are releasing Quality DLC rather than Quantity, meaning substantial DLC rather than several small DLC.

But I seem to remember as well, that they said the DLC will be like SI regarding size, which would be freakin awesome in my opinion.

There is (IIRC) a island between Skyrim and Atmora, maybe they could use it as a DLC location?
