1. sneak attack dmg bonus applies to ranged and/or magic attacks?

2. when u sneak, does your pet sneak as well? or it can be seen?

1) range and melee (i believe)

2) no, it doesn't

3) magelight also is shown when sneaking so having magelight and sneak is kinda, pointless.

I believe so because i saw a person with magelight on went sneaking in front of me but i can still see the magelight while he vanished. What silly tho is i was sneaking and have magelight activated as well and i suddenly felt so dumb.....

I can confirm the pets and magelight showing while you yourself are sneaking.

It's quite idiotic to be franc.

It kinda makes sense tho.

The daedra is not a pet dog which you can train to be able to sneak. Its a monster summoned from the daedric realm to temporarily serve you, against it's will. It probably doesn't even understand the concept of being sneaky.

And a bright ball of light above your head wouldn't exactly help avoiding attention either.

In my opinion, of course. Not saying that this is how it must stay or anything. Gameplay balance comes before 'realism'.

How sneaky can a sorcerer be when followed by not one but two pets? I mean, come on...

It would be nice if only the Scamp could sneak.

Sens when have anyone manage to sneak with magelight hover above them in an elderscroll game? Never. So way start now? And that a pet reveals you from sneaking is quite common in most MMOs too.

Magelight being visible while sneaking is a balancing measure IMO. Otherwise it's rather easy to sneak with Magelight and hunt down enemy sneakers.
