It's less than five days. The game unlocks in North America in 3 days, 17 hours and 20 minutes.
I agree it's time to let us start pre-loading.
I will be the voice of "you all telling me to fall in a endless hole" and say we have to wait till Sunday before preload happens
As for how it works, depends on how steam is setup. But if you want to be surten, keep checking your steam games library and when you see that nice install/preload button light up green under Fallout 4 in your library, then start clicking it mate.
i never seen steam do anything on weekend could be wrong thou.
Yea, I really hope it gets going this weekend.
According to Green Man Gaming, the preload starts today at 9 p.m. UTC (4 p.m. EST). They're sending out keys now in preparation.
Just went to check, and there it was, my lovely key.
do the people that ordered the pip-boy edition through amazon or such get to preload some how or do we just need to wait.
you have too wait till your copy is delivered so you can give steam the code from the case
Really hope they start the preload for Steam today. I can hardly wait another 3 days.
Preloading starts at 9:00 PM UTC, or today.
Source: GMG.
Hope the preload come out today.it's freaking 30 gigs or so depending on the preload.
I bought mine digital yesterday on steam,I don't want to wait around downloading in the game date release while everyone is playing.
Could be 10GB more than Xbox One as the PS4 versions of 3rd party games generally run at higher resolutions or have higher levels of detail which mean bigger file sizes......not sure about PC....PC versions of some high profile games have been getting shafted lately.....don't really care if they do or don't though, that's why I game on PS4, to stay out of PC shenanigans as much as possible. My gaming PC is strictly for DRM free games.
Your data is on your copy you get with the package so you have to wait until release day to download it.
I am hoping maybe that's when Amazon will ship my copy since it's says it will today. Problem is... it's almost a 3 hour wait! :'(
