Sadly, it will be by Argonians.

Sadly?

The Dunmer obviously deserve punishment - who better to mete it out than their former slaves?

Even if they where, I doubt that amount of water would stop the lava from Red Mountain. It would likely go straight past it.

It was only a little closer to Red Mountain than Solstheim  I don't really see how Solstheim was not destroyed as well, being how close it is to Red Mountain. It's not any farther away than the Morrowind mainland.

Here's a thought; maybe we're blowing the size of the eruption out of proportion. I mean, it's not like the Argonians needed the eruption to take over Morrowind at that point. The Dunmer were recovering from fighting both Daedra and Nords, while the Hist had recently learned just how effective Zergling Argonian rushes could be.

That's what I think, personally, but that discussion has been done to death I think. :)

I hate the Dunmer of Morrowind and their cruel, enslaving ways, but it should be a team effort. The Khajiit deserve some of that land and I, as an Imperial supporter, would like to see Cyrodiil gain some more land, as well.

Am I the only one who thought the slave races where all the more awesome in Morrowind because of Slavery??

It's like poverty. You can feel for someone who is poor, just like you can feel for an enslaved race. If Morrowind is ever visited again, we wont get that same feeling.

I see what you mean, but I'd rather see the races free. (And this seems to be the norm by 4E40, since Attrebus in "The Infernal City" mentions he once went on a mission to free slaves.)

From what I've seen so far, I think the races of the (former) Empire are rediscovering their roots and, in most cases, the provinces are seceding. This diversity may be healthier than pretending everyone's the same, what MK once derided as the "United Colors of Benetton" Empire. At the time, I wasn't sure I agreed with his assessment, but I understand it better now in light of "The Infernal City". Maybe Bethesda is aiming for a TES V with the various provinces competing with each other. Not necessarily a civil war, but a world of friction and intrigue. This isn't to say that all the citizens of Tamriel have to be racists.

You could read the Elder Scrolls novel(The Infernal City).

Spoiler
In short, the Ministry of Truth crashed into Vivec, destroying it and everything on the surface of Vvardenfell. Then, Argonians from Black Marsh invaded the mainland and defeated the Dunmer.

If this is from the Infernal City, it sounds like a 1984 knock-off.

The Ministry of Truth was in the game "Morrowind", where it served as the HQ and prison for the Temple inquisition.

Never did like those Argonians. :shakehead:
Wish the Imperials or another mer province would help the Dunmer and put the Argonians in there place.
