I pre-ordered the retail edition so don't get a horse but understand they will have one to purchase separately. My question is can this horse be used initially as a pack horse or are those only the 2nd tier 42k ones? I don't really want to sink the gold into the basic horse for carrying capacity as I think that works out to be something like 12.5k over the 50 days?
So, does the cash shop horse give you any additional inventory space without upgrades or is it just a speed boost?

the horse from cash shop is the 17k gold 1st tier. You can feed it to have additional boosts, but will be always not as good as 2nd tier.

A minimal speed bonus only. Pack upgrades cost 250 gold for each slot

It is the white horse that is palomino colored. You still have to upgrade it, and the ending stats you get won't be as good as you get with the "second tier" horses.
