About the new patch and dlc

Post » Sun Oct 03, 2010 8:12 am

Hello,

I have FO:NV for ps3, as you people might now, our PSN store will still be down for a little while, so I can't get Honest Heart for the moment.
But surely when the store get's back online, I WILL have to do the patch (that up to now I have refused to do) yes?
My concern is that I heard that the patch indeed will erase all dlc content from my save files.

Any suggestions? Help? These would be strongly appreciated

Note: Sorry if this is suppose to be in ''Fallout: New vegas DLC hardware problems PS3'', but that section of the forum seem a bit less than active

The patch should not erase your DLC save files and I believe that you need to download it, but I'm not sure because I am also on PS3.

Did you did the patch, if you did please tell what are the results thank you.
And yes there have been A LOT of people saying that the new patch does indeed erase all the dlc related things (Dead money and pre-order bonuses)

The patch did cause a few problems to a very small amount of people, but it seems it's due to ID's from DLC files. The safest thing apparently is to delete any DLC data you might have (not save data), install the patch, then reinstall all of your DLC.

On pc, it does not launch unless you have the latest patch. Grab it while you can! :D :fallout:

Seeing as I took my Vault 13 Armored suit with me to Zion, I don't think it erased my files. Scary to know it could have happened, though.
