What do I do now? I've gone down the hole using the rope, but other than some rats I see nothing of interest. What do I do?

I think he doesnt need to. Its clearly Fallout 1 (being the only time you need a rope, period, much less in Vault 15).

Theres a second shaft, have you gone down that too?

Although the way is clearly blocked, head to the door at the bottom right hand side for a bit of xp.

Oh yeah. In fallout 2 it's operational isn't it?

Ah crud, I should replay them. Anyway, go to the wall near the east end (on the second floor), and that will complete that part of the quest.

Okay, found some extra rope and went down the second shaft. But I've cleared the room of rats and can't find what I'm supposed to be looking for. What now?

Walk down a corridor towards a big pile of rubble, and you should recieve further instruction in the text box.

Go search somewhere else ~Its not in Vault 15.

Might wanna stop of at Vault 13 and talk to the Overseet about it (you can get a few quests while your there)

I would if I didn't have a freakin time limit constantly nagging me... so now I'm in a prison cell. And apparently nothing, not even this pistol I found, can get me out.
