I've decided to start learning about modding and started with the Wiki tutorial. I downloaded Blender and the other toolbox apps it calls for, but when installing Blender, it said that it was unable to find Python, which I had already installed some time ago for Wrye Bash. So, since Blender couldn't find it, I decided to follow the embedded link to the Python site, download the version Blender was calling for, and install it anew. The problem is that when I then unzipped Python and sought to install it, the Read Me file might as well have been written in Cyrodillic for all the good it did me as it talked about things such as "building" Python etc. So if someone would please give me some basic guidance as to how to get Python to install so Blender will recognize it, I would be most grateful indeed.
