Accents

Must have mixed up Whales and Irish then...Sorry

I'm still right on them being Gaelic though

Actually... Welsh, Irish, and Scottish accents are all incredibly different. A LOT different. Like the guy above said, it's like saying American accents are all the same.

By the time he got done with his warning they took the post, set up a turret, killed half his team, and surrounded him lol

Your character will automatically say lines, such as "Enemy spotted" and "I need a Medic" and "Oh Jesus Christ, there's a sticky grenade on my face".Now you just pick what accent you want to say them in, Whether that be English, Jamaican, or Derpy Lisp.

lol

Oh Jesus Christ, there's a sticky grenade on my face".

I think that the sticky would just blow up in you face while in mid-sentence.

Irish and Scottish are both Gaelic accents and are the same

The British isles(including Ireland) have so many different accent's it isn't funny, and I think it's somewhat ridiculous to say Scottish and Irish accents are the same, even if the islands are small each region practically speaks it's own form of accent.

There's so many voices I wish I could use it's not even funny.

Spike Spiegel's voice, for starters, is one of the best voices I've ever heard. EDIT: If not the best voice I've ever heard. /EDIT
Steve Blum has the voice box of an angel. An angel that kicks ungodly amounts of ass, that is.

"Bang."

EDITx2: Holy carp he's done a carp-load of voiceover work. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0089710/

I 100% agree with you on that.

Yep, he did a lot of voiceover work from Cowboy Bebop as Spike to Toonami as TOM 2-4 when it was still airing on CN.

Makes sense. It was pretty cool being able to decide what your character sounded like in Saints Row.

Remember when the maintenance bot was cutting into the container and I said "It's quiet. Very quiet." and you were like "rusty old pistol and some leaflets" and then I was all "Control...What did you say our objective was?"

That was GREAT.

The GLaDoS voice would be great for command.

Command would like to remind all security personal that desertion will result in an unsatisfactory mark on your next review. Followed by death.

Well yeah that makes a bit more sense,
what you said before was basically the same as saying that southern and new york accents are both the same because they're american accents

Heck, there are at least 6 different distinct accents just in the area surrounding NY City.

I haven't been listening to the stuff much, and haven't heard the american accent yet, anybody know roughly what it is? I'm hoping it's vague and not one of the more distinct accents.

In the container city video, one of the men has an american accent, of the three NPC's that talk in the cut scene...He says at the end of Part 3 "Yea you just do you job soldier"
