i was in a city and i accidently used the force shout instead of my sprint shout then ran my ass off b/c they all started attacking me. im now outside the city and the whole city wants me dead... what do i do?!?! without reverting back to the last save which puts me back a couple levels/quests/a dungeon >_>. i can not approach the city even with my sword sheathed without being attacked, i didnt even kill anybody.

You should have been able to yield (sheathe your weapon) but it seems it's too late for that now. You may have several "assault" bounties. You may need to pay them off before the guards calm down though. Or try a calming spell??

Think you're out of options really, reload is your best bet.

Calm spells....leave then wait a day and come back
Pay off your fine....
Ur main goal is to get at least one gaurd to talk to you so u can pay off ur bounty

I liked it better in oblivion when u attacked someone and a gaurd would tell u whether to resist or pay or go to jail

Now u attack a chicken and everybody in town kills first asks questions later lol

pull out your weapon run to a guard then sheathe it after that they should talk to you to pay off your bounty
