ok so i did the unthinkable and accidently killed a member of my fighters guild . They now want me to find or get bear pelts any place that would have these still on the bear ?

Obviously out in the wild. Like the Great Forest or the West Weld.

You can of course buy them and the FG will accept that. But I guess you want fresh ones.

Most general stores respawn a supply of 5 bear pelts if you don't feel up to the hunt as Savlian said. I encounter bears pretty randomly on the roads, but if I wanted to hunt them, I would consider looking in 'monster dungeons'. Here's a list: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Monster_Dungeons

- Duplicate
- Go out hunting
- Buy from someone
- Steal/Find some

The trail from Lipsand Tarn to Hermaeus Mara Shrine to Bruma has lots of bears, but at higher levels some are replaced by Ogres.

Must haven't been anyone important if they think some bear pelts are a fair trade. I'll stay away from them now.
