accurate aiming controls

I am looking forward to playing Fallout 4. One thing that is bothering me is the chance that the aim sensitivity will be like previous versions. I had to change settings in fall out 3 to the lowest setting to be able to aim accurately with a controller. This would mean a really slow turn circle. Please look at the aim settings and make them less sensitive in the middle so you can still turn at speed but accuracy is still possible with finer touching of controller stick.

Ah I see you are new here. There are about a dozen threads on this topic. If you do any research into this as well you will see that Bethesda worked very hard to correct this. They brought in people from id and Bungie to assist with making it feel and move more like a professional shooter. You can put those worries to rest.

This issue has NOTHING to do with the help Bethesda got from ID. It's that console controllers just don't work well with PC input code. I have no issue with Bethesda attempting to correct what the OP is complaining about....as long is doesn't screw up mouse aiming or keyboard movement n the process. I'm still baffled as to why anyone would want to use a controller to play an FPS type game on a PC....it makes no sense.

I use a controller on my PC to play things like Assassin's Creed or the Arkham games - movement tends to be more precise for me with an anolog controller as opposed to moving with the WASD keys.

I played Skyrim with my controller as well - the movement in third-person is much less wonky I found if I play with a controller.

With a mouse and keyboard you gain some aiming accuracy at the cost of fine movement controls, and vice versa for a controller - its just a matter if preference.

If the movement in third person still looks unnatural with a keyboard I may end up using a controller for Fallout 4 as well.

I find it works better when my Arthritis acts up since it is more comfortable using a controller.

Actually for moving around and in aiming I find it works better and more natural. But then again I come from playing a lot of Flight Sims in the 80's with Joysticks which in some ways are not that far from a controller
