I like getting all your skills really good why wouldn't you want to?

Because you end up with an over-powered character and a boring game because you no longer have any serious competition from the enemies you come across.

I don't think it's really good if you can't get all the perks that's not fair what if I want to get them all?

You can't. You'll only be able to choose 50 perks out of a total of about 280.

i think thats awesome, ive always tried to stick to the main path or w/e for the character type im playing but find it almost difficult not to increase everything to the max in the older games. with the new system only allowing you 50 out of ~280 or so then that seems like it would create a huge amount of different unique characters whether they want to be extremely skilled in one aspect or only mediocre in all of them, i think its a great addition and idea.

The one question i have about the whole perk tree system is if we will get to see the entire line of perks for that skill or attribute before we start choosing, like if theres one really gangster awesome one you want to shoot for or if you really just have no clue going in right from the start and you just stick to what you like and new perks just come up along the way and you discover new ones.

edit: without knowing, im sort of undecided on what id rather have....i like the idea of only being able to see the perks as you level, giving it a sort of unknown exciting reward aspect, but on the otherhand it could also be good to have be able to see the entire thing and plan out which direction you will take

There is a Perk cap of 50, you won't be able to be a true God of all Trades anymore.

However you can still get 100 in all skill and get kinda close to it, depends on how powerful maxing out a Perk Tree really is.

Luckily, that will be modded out.

I am someone who believes in specializing to a point...and that point usually hits when I can't specialize anymore but I am enjoying a character...example-I am currently playing OB and have an assassin marksman who uses poisons...but my major skills have peaked and I like the character and high-level items...so I am also in the process of maxing out my destruction and conjuration...eventually I will JOAT my character...its just inevitable...

We don't yet how they're going to deal with that. If it's like Fallout, then you'll be able to see all of the perks in the game, but the ones you can't take at the moment will be grayed out. There was also an ini setting though where you could choose to have only the immediately available ones onscreen.
